Senior Staffing Sales Executive / Business Development Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Staffing Sales Executive / Business Development Manager with 10+ years of experience in IT Staffing Sales and Business Development. The primary responsibility of this role is to bring new IT staffing requirements from direct clients, enterprises, GCCs, MSPs, VMS programs, and other organizations and convert those opportunities into active business. This is a hunter-oriented sales role. The ideal candidate should have a strong network of IT decision-makers, hiring managers, HR/TA leaders, procurement teams, and vendor-management stakeholders, with a proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating staffing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients requiring IT staffing and staff augmentation services.
  • Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Heads, Hiring Managers, Procurement teams, Vendor Managers, and MSP/VMS stakeholders.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships and professional networks to open new accounts and develop a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, capability discussions, and sales pitches.
  • Proactively identify organizations with current and upcoming IT hiring needs and convert client relationships into active IT staffing requirements.
  • Understand client technology requirements, hiring volumes, locations, skill sets, contract duration, rate expectations, and timelines, and obtain regular/recurring requirements from newly acquired clients.
  • Coordinate with the recruitment team to ensure quick turnaround on client requirements.
  • Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting to client meeting, opportunity creation, requirement generation, proposal, negotiation, closure, and onboarding.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, billing rates, margins, contracts, MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and vendor agreements, and drive client onboarding and vendor registration processes.
  • Build long-term relationships with newly acquired clients and expand accounts by identifying additional hiring teams, business units, locations, and technology requirements.
  • Increase the number and frequency of requirements from existing clients and develop strategic relationships that generate repeat staffing business.
  • Work closely with Recruitment, Delivery, Operations, Finance, and Leadership teams and communicate client requirements clearly to the recruitment team.
  • Track submissions, interviews, offers, placements, and revenue generated from acquired accounts.

Mandatory Skills

  • 10+ years of proven experience in IT Staffing Sales / Business Development / Client Acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success in bringing new clients and generating IT staffing requirements.
  • Strong existing network of IT hiring managers, HR/TA leaders, procurement teams, MSPs, VMS programs, or enterprise decision-makers.
  • Proven track record of new-logo acquisition, not only account management.
  • Experience selling IT contract staffing, staff augmentation, recruitment, RPO, or related workforce solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the IT staffing sales cycle.
  • Experience negotiating MSAs, SOWs, rate cards, NDAs, and commercial agreements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and operate as a hunter/growth-oriented sales professional.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, LinkedIn/Sales Navigator, prospecting, pipeline management, and sales reporting.
